A little bit about the Port of London Authority (PLA)
You probably don’t realise but many of the products you buy will have come into the Port of London. The PLA is the biggest port in the country. It also looks after the whole of the tidal Thames running through our capital city, a draw for many tourists from around the world. There are also many rowers, paddle boarders and small craft that use the Tidal Thames regularly. As the UK are moving to a Net Zero economy, the port and river will have a crucial part to play in this transformation. We take our social and environmental responsibilities seriously. The future is changing, and you could have the opportunity to be part of this.
