Reporting to: IT Business Systems Manager
Grade: 7
Salary: starting at £35,776 + 5% operational allowance
Base: Gravesend with occasional visits to other PLA offices and flexible working from home arrangements.

Are you an experienced and motivated Business Analyst? The Port of London Authority is seeking someone to help gather business requirements for new systems and system changes by spending time engaging with and shadowing users and generating detailed documentation in support of the business system team’s drive to deliver continuous business improvement.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, have excellent business analyst skills (requirements gathering, process mapping & specification writing) with at least 3 years’ proven experience in eliciting business requirements and documenting business processes, excellent data analysis and reporting skills/experience and excellent facilitation, communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to engage the wide range of internal and external customers and a pro-active and motivated attitude will serve you well in this highly-skilled and diverse team.
