Job Description

The London Eye
London, GREATER LONDON, SE1 7PB
United Kingdom

Fancy setting sail through the heart of the city on the London Eye River Cruise? Of course, you do.

We’ve got our Eye out for a Customer Service Assistant – Pier Operations to join our dedicated team in delivering the most moving experience in London!

Apply for this role

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience working on Britain’s waterways (desirable)
  • A solid understanding of health and safety, and a passion for customer excellence
  • To be a guest focused individual that thrives off being within a buzzing atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 18 years of age or older

Whatever your experience, don’t be alarmed as full training will be given.

You’ll ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Pier, maintaining the highest level of quality standards, efficiency, and boat management, whilst adhering to health and safety standards. Following all Marine safety regulations and London Eye procedures, you will also ensure the compliance of all boat operators and respond with appropriate actions in emergency situations. You’ll carry out efficient management of the guests and boats stopping at the Pier, being a dock master and ensuring that all boat movements are recorded accurately on the record log and submitting discrepancy reports.

The London Eye Pier is one of the busiest on the Thames and so you’ll be able to remain calm under pressure, always be professional and have high health and safety standards.

This role is permanent, based upon working 5 days out of 7 on a roster basis, offering a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. The London Eye is open daily and so shifts will include regular weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

  • 40% online LEGO discount and 25% discount in retail and food
  • Access to an exclusive employee discount website and much more

Come on board and don’t just look at the iconic London skyline, be part of it!
