Reporting to IT Business Systems Manager
Grade: 5
Salary: £45,798
Base: Gravesend with occasional visits to other PLA offices and flexible working from home arrangements.

Are you an experienced and motivated Database Administrator? The Port of London Authority is seeking someone to help build and maintain a corporate-wide data warehouse combining data from a wide array of systems and providing the business tools and know-how to improve business insight.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical problem solver with technical expertise in Microsoft SQL server and Power BI and extensive experience in data warehouse implementation and management.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and business acumen – enabling them to evaluate situations quickly and identify effective solutions. Its essential the post holder is able to confidentially engage with a wide range of internal and external customers and has a pro-active and motivated attitude as this will serve you well in our highly-skilled and diverse team.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated with at least 5 years experience in a similar role.
