Job Profile
You will work on-board our boats that travel up and down the Thames assisting the Master, Mates and Onboard Customer Service Assistant (OCSA) ensuring our customer’s safety at all times and making sure they have a wonderful journey with us.

You will make sure any boat maintenance and cleaning is carried out efficiently and effectively and also assist the OCSA when required with serving the customers on board and stocking the boat.

If you enjoy working with the public, being outside on the river and being part of a fun and busy team then this could be the role for you!

We’re looking for people who are looking to develop their career in the maritime industry and progress within Thames Clippers from DCSA to Mate to Master. We’re looking for ambitious and driven individuals who want to succeed.

You will be approachable, friendly and helpful, not only to the passengers on board but also to your colleagues. We expect you to deliver the same amazing experience to our customers and team at the end of your shift as you do at the start.

Where
You will spend your days on our vessels, which all leave from North Greenwich Pier, based near The O2 arena and North Greenwich tube station.

Interviews
these will happen virtually on MS Teams w/c 10 May 2021.

When
You’ll need to be able to start work with us in June 2021.

Important information
You will be based on our boats on the river and that means you will be on your feet for 10 hour shifts. We will provide you with a full uniform including warm clothing to defend against the British weather!
