Who we are:

The Port of London Authority is the statutory harbour authority for the tidal Thames and responsible for 95 miles of the River Thames from the Estuary to Teddington Lock in West London. We work to keep river users safe, protect and enhance the environment and promote the use of the river for trade and travel.

The Estates Dept consists of a small, dedicated team of surveyors with responsibility for managing the PLA’s extensive river estate and growing property investments. The land holdings are diverse, including industrial wharves, land fill sites, silt lagoons, mast sites and farmland. The team is involved in negotiating new leases and licences, rent reviews and property acquisitions.

The role:

We are looking for an experienced Administrator & Coordinator to provide administrative and project support to enable the smooth running of the PLA’s property portfolio and land-holdings.

What we are looking for:

You will have a good standard of education, with at least 5 passes at GCSE level including English Language and Mathematics. You will have excellent administration and inter-personal skills with secretarial experience and knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Word.
