We’re looking for a Fleet Control Assistant to work with our Fleet Control team who maintain communication with our staff and passengers on any of the 23 piers to assist with the smooth and effective operation of our passenger services.

Providing real time information for passengers about scheduled arrival and departure times by producing updates on social media; you will assist the Duty Fleet Controller in their day-to-day duties, providing operational and administrative assistance.

You’ll have oversight of passenger number records, ensuring a correct log of numbers is maintained and reported in the right way.

You will also assist the Business Scheduling team in the efficient planning of assets to ensure that all revenue, charter, cleaning and maintenance activities are included in the operating schedule and that all relevant departments are advised of the schedule.

We are looking for someone with clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal. You’ll be working across a number of departments, so you need to be able to build good working relationships with all types of people.

You will thrive in a very busy environment and maintain humility and empathy even when working under pressure.

With an extremely organised approach to work with high attention to detail; you will be committed and flexible as we are a 24/7 operation.

We are looking for someone highly self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision but who also enjoys working as part of a team.

We’ll give you all the training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you will be set up for success.

Where: You’ll be based at our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, Poplar, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river from North Greenwich tube on our staff boat.
