Job Description
The Port of London Authority (PLA) is responsible for 95 miles of the River Thames from the Estuary to Teddington Lock in West London. We work to keep river users safe, protect and enhance the environment and promote the use of the river for trade and travel.

We are seeking a General Operative to undertake maintenance work on the PLA assets including revetment, step maintenance and vegetation control along the PLA owned riverbank.

You will be a team player with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels and ensure that projects are delivered safely, effectively and on time.

The successful candidate will have site experience within the construction industry, with an emphasis on groundwork and civil engineering. A ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn are essential. You must be a CSCS card holder.
