Job Description

Status (Full Time, Part Time, Seasonal, Apprentice)

Full time – 35 hours per week, shift based

Responsibilities

You will be working full time on board our boats serving our customers hot and cold beverages and food; maintaining a high level of customer service at all times and being cheerful, approachable and helpful.

We will provide extensive training so you will gain knowledge of the products we sell on board; be able to serve our customers efficiently and upsell where you can, and maintain and clean the equipment and surrounding areas; minimising waste and ensuring stock is maintained managed efficiently.

Location

North Greenwich Pier – near to the O2 and North Greenwich station (Jubilee line)

Salary

£15,268 a year, increasing to £17,962 on successful completion of 3 months’ probation

Experience needed

With a genuine desire and ability to work with the public in a front line, customer and sales focused environment; you will be able to build rapport with our customers.

We are looking for people with previous experience in a customer facing role, ideally from a hospitality or tourism background, where you are comfortable approaching our customers and making them aware of our menu and products.

You must be able to thrive in a very busy environment and maintain patience and empathy even when working under pressure. We are looking for people with good communication skills, a great team work ethic and a friendly, helpful customer focused approach.
