Uber Boat by Thames Clippers (UBTC) are looking for a Project Manager.

This role supports the Head of Transformation with responsibility and oversight of all projects across the company, and to help develop comprehensive planning processes and governance and responsible for implementation. The Project Manager will be required to input to business change and help develop and run project related MI and reporting.

With support from the Head of Transformation, you’ll be the single point of contact for provide business partnering to lead the inception, deployment, and review of all projects across the business.

You’ll help define project deliverables, resources required and assign responsibilities; grow the project management function, design and refine processes to ensure all projects are managed and tracked in a consistent and efficient manner to maximise business benefit, manage risk and interdependencies and control cost.

You’ll also prepare and present regular programme updates, with root cause established for project variance and plans to mitigate. Your project plans will include timelines, Gantt charts, critical paths, financial implications and alternative recommendations.

While implementing processes to manage and monitor company risk and issues, ensuring ownership and actions to mitigate are followed through; you’ll give input to MI and added-value analysis including but not limited to project milestones, budget and actuals reporting.

We’re looking for someone with experience in a project management role and exposure to a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be able to lead definition, prioritisation and implementation of our ongoing and new projects.

You’ll have the aptitude to work across multiple departments and projects and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

An excellent communicator; you’ll have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

You’ll seek to find continuous improvement and be comfortable and discrete with confidential information.

Where: You’ll be based at our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube. We offer flexible start and end times and welcome flexible working conversations.
