Job Description

Livett’s Launches are seeking a Safety Boat Skipper to join their team of crew working on board of a superb fleet of workboats. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to develop a career on the River Thames working for a versatile and successful Company.
The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications:

  • Tier 1, Level 2 Boat Masters Licence
  • Local knowledge Endorsement
  • Current ML5 Medical or ENG 1
  • Sea Survival
  • Fire Fighting
  • First Aid

We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, committed, and flexible in their approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and work well under pressure.

You will be responsible for the safe operation of the vessel and compliance with the on-board Safety Management System, ensuring the vessel is operated to the highest possible standards at all times.

Based at Butler’s Wharf Pier, your hours of work will be variable in accordance with the workload of the vessels. However, the shift pattern consists of 4 days, Monday to Saturday, 12hrs shift from (6am) with 3 days off.

We are offering a salary between £40 to £45k per annum with the opportunity for overtime and a parking permit for the Butler’s Wharf area.
