As the Sales Manager – Charter and Cruise, you’ll deliver the Sales and Corporate Marketing objectives for the company’s Charter and Cruise business units.
You’ll be responsible for meeting/exceeding sales targets; developing new sales strategies and channels to maximise revenue from available fleet capacity; and building strong relationships with trade and corporate clients.
Whilst proactively promoting and managing private hire enquires and bookings; you’ll work with Port of Tilbury and the ship’s agents to ensure a high standard of service is provided to cruise operators calling at the Central London Cruise Moorings.
You’ll regularly attend meetings, conferences, and networking events making relevant contacts and representing Uber Boat by Thames Clippers to promote private hire and cruise services.
We’re looking for someone with relevant experience working in a sales or events environment. You’ll be comfortable at networking and have strong influencing and negotiating skills.
A self-starter, you’ll use your initiative to build sales pipelines and ensure our customers receive best in class service – always.
You’ll have experience of setting up and using a CRM system and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
We’ll give you all the training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you will be set up for success.
Where: You’ll be based at our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, Poplar, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river in our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube. We’re currently working 4 days in the office and 1 day remotely, but we welcome flexible working conversations.
