Salary: £40,000-£45,000 a year plus benefits
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for delivering the Travel trade sales strategy ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
Responsible for the management and maintenance of Travel Trade accounts , you’ll develop new business opportunities within the market, focusing on maximising revenue and passenger yield .
You’ll create relevant packages and joint ticket offerings with partners to deliver increased sales and new business and proactively promote Uber Boat by Thames Clippers services to Travel Trade clients.
Building relationships with key trade and tourism organisations you’ll regularly attend meetings, conferences and networking events making relevant contacts and representing Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.
Working with the Head of Sales, you’ll ensure our offering for groups and FITs is reflective of the current market needs by monitoring and evaluating changes within the tourism market and competitor activity.
You’ll establish internal processes to ensure we provide a welcoming and efficient service to all B2C and B2B audiences.
We are looking for someone with 2-3 years’ experience working within the Travel Trade industry who has strong sales skills and experience converting contacts to clients.
With a proven track record for building and managing relationships that increase revenue we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships both internally and externally.
Being a self-starter with the ability to use your own initiative is a must as well as being able to work flexibly as a team.
You’ll have a commitment to providing customer service of the highest standard and the ability to use MS Office packages exceptionally well.
Where: You’ll be based at our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube.
