Job Description
The Port of London Authority (PLA) is responsible for 95 miles of the River Thames from the Estuary to Teddington Lock in West London. We work to keep river users safe, protect and enhance the environment and promote the use of the river for trade and travel.
We are seeking a Skilled Operative to undertake maintenance work on the PLA assets including revetment, step maintenance and vegetation control along the PLA owned riverbank using construction methods, techniques and finishing skills.
You will be a team player with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels and ensure that projects are delivered safely, effectively and on time.  You will be required to deputise in the absence of the General Foreman.

The successful candidate will have significant site experience within the construction industry with an emphasis of groundworks and civil engineering.  Some experience of working within the maritime sector would be beneficial. You must be a CSCS card holder. CPCS plant qualifications or equivalent and/or a SSSTS certificate holder would be an advantage.
