We are looking for a Stores Person to support the Engineering Purchasing Manager across Thames Clipper’s stores sites, ensuring a safe and effective working environment

You’ll ensure ensure any work carried out is in compliance with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers Safety Policies and Statutory regulations, leading by example and promoting best practice.

While maintaining the stores and keeping any areas clean and tidy you’ll be responsible for managing the stock control system across our sites including booking and issuing stock from our storage areas.

You’ll provide assistance and support to external contractors as directed and provide feedback to the Dry Dock Refit Site Manager to support continuous improvements in standards, efficiency and safety.

We’re looking for someone who can drive our company van to facilitate delivery and collection of equipment between Tilbury and Trinity Buoy Wharf and will need to hold a full clean driving licence (C1).

You’ll also operate our loader crane to transfer stock and to assist engineers with other lifting operations.

We’re looking for an excellent communicator who is super organised, thrives in a busy environment and passionate about accuracy and detail

Ideally you’ll have experience using an in-depth stock control system and knowledge of budget constraints.

You’ll have clear and concise communication skills and be able to build good working relationships with a variety of departments across the business.

We’ll give you all the support and training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work and the culture at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you’ll be set up for success.

Where: You’ll be based between our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf and our Dry Dock facility at Tilbury. Our main offices are a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube.
