Salary Range: £45,952 – £50,724 per annum (inclusive of allowances)

Who we are:
The Port of London Authority is the statutory harbour authority for the tidal Thames and responsible for 95 miles of the River Thames from the Estuary to Teddington Lock in West London. We work to keep river users safe, protect and enhance the environment and promote the use of the river for trade and travel.
The role:
We are seeking a Machine Operative to undertake maintenance work on the PLA assets including revetment, step maintenance and vegetation control along the PLA owned riverbank.
You will be responsible for the care of the plant, which will include daily plant inspection and checks, fuelling and basic maintenance of the plant.
What we are looking for:
You will have significant site experience within the construction industry with an emphasis of groundworks and civil engineering.
You must hold a CPCS competent operator card or equivalent for a range of machines (e.g. excavator, roller and dumper).
You would preferably be a CSCS card holder.
