£10.00 an hour, 9am-4pm Monday to Fridays

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our facilities team at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.

You will be responsible for the cleaning on-board our vessels. Whilst ensuring safe and efficient use of materials and equipment, you will conduct cleaning of the fleet in accordance with the tasks, schedules and cleaning plan provided by the Cleaning Supervisor.

You must ensure that machinery; equipment and the cleaning cupboard are kept in a clean and tidy state, reporting any low stock or equipment concerns to the Cleaning Supervisor.

To comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices, you will be required to manage cleaning issues that arise, reporting any concerns or problems to the Cleaning Supervisor / Facility and Cleaning Manager if necessary.

We are looking for someone with previous cleaning experience who thrives in an environment that requires good communication, creativity and cooperation, whilst being able to build strong working relationships within your team and across the business.

Being based on our boats means you will be near the river and on your feet throughout the period of your shift.

We’ll give you all the training you need in our systems and procedures so you’ll be set up for success.

Where: You’ll be based on Trinity Buoy Wharf Pier, Poplar, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river in our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube.
