Uber Boat by Thames Clippers (UBTC) are looking for a People Operations Manager to support the Head of People and Culture in the delivery of a progressive and meaningful people strategy. The People Operations Manager will lead the People Operations function and Support our People Coordinator to administer our people systems and processes to ensure a great employee experience is delivered at each point within the employee lifecycle.
You’ll play a critical role in working behind the scenes to keep the People team running, leading the collation and analysis of key HR and people metrics, producing reports to identify trends to enable the People team and wider business to improve how we work and enhance the employee experience.
While owning the HRIS, benefits and payroll processes, systems and providers, you’ll make sure that they are optimised and user friendly ensuring ROI and efficiency are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re looking for someone to have overall responsibility for Right to Work processes and IR35 compliance, liaising with the People Team to manage any issues. Working in conjunction with the Head of People and other stakeholders, you’ll support our L&D Manager to develop and deliver values and culture focused training interventions to the business and you’ll also support our project teams with implementation and/or refinement of our HRIS, ATS and any other relevant people systems.
We’re looking for an excellent communicator who is super organised, analytical and passionate about accuracy and detail.
You’ll think creatively and logically “thinking outside the box” to find continuous improvement areas and refinement, and be comfortable and discrete with confidential information.
We’ll give you all the support and training you need regarding our systems as well as a thorough induction on how we work and the culture at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you’ll be set up for success.
Where: You’ll be based at our offices at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube. We offer flexible start and end times and welcome flexible working conversations.
