Who we are:

The Port of London Authority is the statutory harbour authority for the tidal Thames and responsible for 95 miles of the River Thames from the Estuary to Teddington Lock in West London. We work to keep river users safe, protect and enhance the environment and promote the use of the river for trade and travel.

The role:

You’ll be involved in supporting the delivery of key projects within the VISION12 strategic portfolio and other departmental projects at the PLA. With guidance, you’ll contribute to good project governance and help promote consistent ways of working, which will support better outcomes across the organisation.

You will work towards successful completion of the Associate Project Management (Level 4) apprenticeship.

  • Have clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Be comfortable working with documents, data, and reports, with guidance.
  • Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), with an interest in developing further skills.

In return, we offer a competitive benefits package:

  • 28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Medical Cash Plan (Westfield Health)
  • Generous pension
  • Onsite parking with electric charging
  • Access to Occupational Health, Mindfulness, Counselling and Physiotherapy
