Salary: £26,000-29,000 a year plus benefits

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday

We are looking for a Pier Facilities Technician to undertake the day to day maintenance, servicing and repairs of all Uber Boat by Thames Clippers piers and properties.

You’ll be responsible for the inspection and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems on our piers, ensuring they remain operational at all times.

You will maintain the cleanliness and standards of all piers, keeping them safe, presentable and clean for all customers and colleagues.

Ensuring all gangways and piers are audited, you’ll keep a log of any defects and repair when necessary following all guidelines, processes and standards.

We’re looking for someone with relevant working experience in facilities maintenance who is skilled in plumbing, electrics, woodwork and painting including steel work.

You’ll be solutions focused with a positive “can do” attitude and a team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment.

This role does involve report writing, so using Microsoft Word and Excel efficiently is necessary.

We’ll give you a thorough induction on how we work at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, so you’ll be set up for success.

Where: You’ll work from our Head office at Clipper House, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0JY, a short walk from Canning Town tube or a hop across the river on our staff boat, from North Greenwich tube.
